Best known for being Jennifer Aniston’s colorist since the beginning of her career on ‘FRIENDS.’ Jennifer’s famous caramel highlights are still the most sought after highlights in the business, PEOPLE MAGAZINE, ‘Peoples Choice’ 2004. His prestigious clientele ranges from Denise Richards, Jeri Ryan, Faith Hill, Sela Ward, Amanda Bynes, Blythe Danner, Harry Hamlin to pop sensation Shakira. He has done everyone from Estee Lauder’s current covergirl, Carolyn Murphy, to the Princess of Spain.

He has been chosen as the best colorist in Los Angeles by ALLURE MAGAZINE for five years in a row. In August 2005 ALLURE’S beauty editor stated, “Canale is linked with famous blondes like Carolyn Murphy… our caramel locks convinced even our most skeptical brunette friends to cross color lines.” VOGUE MAGAZINE quotes, “He is not only really good, he’s really fast.” He is regularly included in ‘W’ MAGAZINE’S annual BLACKBOOK.

Michael currently maintains a very select clientele in New York, Washington DC, as well as his salon in Beverly Hills. Prior to opening in Beverly Hills Michael maintained an international private clientele in Gsdtaad, Paris and London. He has been invited to attend inaugurations and inaugural balls by four presidents as an official hairstylist for dignitaries and visitors. He was included in Earl Blackwell’s famous “list” as one of the world’s finest beauty professionals for four consecutive years.
